Scénickým čtením vernisáž doprovodí český herec František Kreuzmann a hrou na violoncello Vladimíra Sanvito.
Jsme chrámem umění i místem pro Duši. Výstava poukazuje na možnost vnímat umění ve smyslu teze C. G. Junga, že umění je velice komplexním vyjádřením lidské duše. Duše vytváří prostor k usebrání a k aha! zážitku. Provádí diváka příběhem Písně o Perle, který je poetickým podobenstvím o odloučení lidské duše a o jejím návratu zpět domů, kde perla je symbolem lidské duše.
--> Výstava Duše uzavírá cyklus o umění a duševním zdraví.
Připravovanou výstavou Duše Galerie Benedikta Rejta završuje tříletý cyklus Krása – Hra – Duše. Tento projekt se dlouhodobě věnuje vztahu mezi uměním a duševním zdravím a vyzdvihuje význam výtvarného umění nejen jako prostředku hlubokého osobního prožitku, reflexe a sebepoznání, ale i jako význam z hlediska wellbeingu a jeho pozitivního vlivu na psychiku člověka.
Galerie Benedikta Rejta dlouhodobě spolupracuje s Národním ústavem duševního zdraví (NUDZ) a jeho Výzkumným centrem pokročilých studií mozku a vědomí, vedeném renomovaným psychiatrem a neurovědcem prof. Jiřím Horáčkem.
Výsledkem této spolupráce jsou měřitelné výstupy výzkumu a testů, které vznikly během výstav Krása – Hra – Duše a které mapují vliv umění na lidské psýché. Návštěvníci se mohou seznámit s výstupy výzkumu v rámci interaktivní expozice.
Galerie nabízí prostor, kde umění není pouze jako estetický zážitek, ale jako iniciační proces. Vystavená díla nejsou dekorativní, ale hluboce pravdivá – vznikala z potřeby komunikace s tím, co je v nás hluboko.

We are a temple of art and a place for the Soul. The exhibition highlights the possibility of perceiving art in the sense of C. G. Jung’s thesis that art is a highly complex expression of the human soul. The soul creates space for introspection and the “aha!” experience. It guides the viewer through the story of The Hymn of the Pearl, a poetic parable about the separation of the human soul and its return home, where the pearl symbolizes the human soul.
--> The exhibition Soul concludes the cycle on art and mental health.
With the upcoming Soul exhibition, the Benedikt Rejt Gallery completes the three-year cycle Beauty – Play – Soul. This project has long focused on the relationship between art and mental health, emphasizing the importance of visual art not only as a medium for deep personal experience, reflection, and self-discovery but also for its significance in terms of wellbeing and its positive impact on the human psyche.
The Benedikt Rejt Gallery has a long-standing collaboration with the National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ) and its Research Centre for Advanced Studies of the Brain and Consciousness, led by renowned psychiatrist and neuroscientist prof. Jiří Horáček.
This collaboration has yielded measurable research results and tests carried out during the exhibitions Beauty – Play – Soul, mapping the influence of art on the human psyche. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore these research findings in an interactive exhibit.
The gallery offers a space where art is not only an aesthetic experience, but also an initiatory process. The exhibited works are not decorative but profoundly truthful – created out of a need to communicate with what lies deep within us.
